The above video is an advertisement for a Ford Motor Company vehicle that can parallel park itself. The ad was filmed in Paris where parking is a premium and drivers do anything for a parking space.

This commercial reminds me of God’s great love, he gives his very best to the very worst. He showers all who come to him with grace and forgiveness. His love can reach any pit, any wasteland, any sin-soaked soul.

Anyone who comes, anyone who seeks, anyone who longs to be made whole and cleansed.

Now, there is no comparison between Adam’s transgression and the gracious gift that we experience. For the magnitude of the gift far outweighs the crime. It’s true that many died because of one man’s transgression, but how much greater will God’s grace and his gracious gift of acceptance overflow to many because of what one Man, Jesus, the Messiah, did for us!
