Who wants to hear some GOOD News?

Isaiah 61 declares specific messages of the Good News:

1. Good news to the meek. People who acknowledge that they want and need to hear something good that pertains to them.

2. Bind up the brokenhearted. Heal the hurting.

3. Proclaim liberty to the captives. Pronouncing freedom to those in bondage.

4. Opening of the prison to them that are bound. Setting people free.

5. Proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. Now is a good time for good to come.

6. Day of Vengeance of our God. God’s enemies are your enemies.

7. Comfort all that mourn. More than comfort food, Real comfort.

8. Beauty for ashes, joy for mourning. Sounds like a good deal to me, can I have double?

9. The garment of Praise for heaviness. Singing instead of crying.
